About Hansa Communications
HansaNet is a network-monitoring platform for internet service providers, built and operated by Hansa Communications, the trading name of Byreddy Haneesh Reddy, a sole proprietorship registered in Telangana, India (GSTIN 36FBHPR3082Q1ZS). It is offered as a subscription software service at hansanet.in.
What we do
Regional and rural ISPs run fibre networks — OLTs, switches, splitters, closures and thousands of subscriber ONUs — usually with a handful of field staff and no network operations centre. When a fibre is cut or a power feed drops, the first they hear of it is a customer calling. HansaNet is the operations centre those ISPs do not have: it watches the equipment continuously and tells the right person what broke, where, and when.
What the service includes
- Continuous reachability monitoring. A lightweight probe installed on the ISP’s own network tests every monitored device, confirms a genuine outage in about a minute, and suppresses the downstream noise a single upstream failure causes.
- Outage alerting over WhatsApp. Alerts reach the owner and the assigned field staff on their own phones, with acknowledgement and escalation.
- Optical and port monitoring. SNMP polling of GPON/EPON optical levels, interface status, bandwidth and device health, with fault localisation on a PON.
- Fibre plant records. Cables, closures, splices, splitters and drops recorded against a map, so a splicer knows what is in a box before opening it.
- A field application. An Android application for field staff to geo-tag plant, photograph installations and check devices on site.
- Customer notices. Paced WhatsApp broadcasts so an ISP can tell the affected subscribers about planned work or a confirmed fault.
- Reporting. Uptime history, outage reconstruction, and exportable issue reports in PDF and Excel.
Who it is for
HansaNet is sold to internet service providers and network operators, not to consumers. There is no public sign-up: an account is created by an administrator for staff of a subscribing organisation, and every reading and record is scoped to that organisation alone. We do not monitor end-customer home routers, and we do not resell internet access.
How it is charged
One metered rate, billed monthly in arrears — there are no plan tiers and no device caps. The rates and a worked example are on the pricing page.
